Blower Motor Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect electrical connector to switch.
2. Operate switch in all control positions and check continuity between switch terminals using suitable ohmmeter.
NOTE: Refer to "Wiring Diagram" for switch terminal identification.

3. Meter should indicate continuity between terminals as indicated in charts, Fig. 18 .




4. If continuity does not exist between indicated terminals, switch is open. If meter indicates continuity between terminals other than those indicated for each switch position, switch is shorted.
