Computers and Control Systems: Diagrams

The following procedure allows separate inspection of each EFI circuit. This test is meant to be performed in conjunction with the troubleshooting, self diagnostic and component test procedures, and allows system wiring harnesses to be checked from the EFI computer connector.
1. Remove computer from mounting bracket, on the following models, as follows:
a. On Celica and Pickup models, remove glove box.
b. On Van models, remove right center pillar garnish molding and seat belt retractor assembly.
c. On all models, remove computer from mount along with wiring harness.
2. On 1985 Camry, remove computer wiring cover.
