Air Injection Pump: Testing and Inspection

1. Connect tester 09258-14010 or equivalent to pump discharge hose.
2. Install a 0.217 inch (5.5 mm) orifice in tool.
3. Start engine and set to run 1800 RPM.
4. If tester reading is in red zone, or if pump produces abnormal knocking or grinding noises, pump is defective.
