Alternator Testing Connections

The following tests should be conducted with an
alternator volt-amp tester, connected in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
If an alternator volt-amp tester is not available, connect a voltmeter and ammeter to the charging circuit as shown in Fig. 1.
