Blower Motor Relay: Testing and Inspection

CONTINUITY

Heater Relay Continuity:

1. Check that there is continuity between terminals 1 and 3 and between terminals 2 and 4.
2. Check that there is no continuity between terminals 4 and 5.
3. If continuity is not as specified, replace relay.

OPERATION

Heater Relay Operation:

1. Apply battery voltage across terminals 1 and 3.
2. Check that there is continuity between terminals 4 and 5.
3. Check that there is no continuity between terminals 2 and 4.
3. If operation is not as specified, replace relay.
