1. Connect a suitable vacuum gauge to vacuum pump outlet pipe.
2. Run engine until normal operating temperature is reached and ensure vacuum gauge reads more than 25.59 inches Hg.
3. If vacuum does not meet specifications, repair or replace vacuum pump as necessary.
