CONDITION:

The low fuel indicator light comes on even though sufficient fuel remains in the tank.

CAUSE:

The thermister may be coated with residue contained in alcohol blend fuels.

INDICATOR THERMISTER:

CORRECTION:

A new protective coating is now being used on the low fuel indicator thermister.. The coating has been changed from a silicone material to glass.
