Throttle Position Switch: Adjustments

1. Disconnect electrical connector from throttle position switch. Fig, 86.
2. Using a suitable ohmmeter, connect leads to throttle position switch and carburetor body.
3. With engine idling, slowly open the throttle. Engine speed should be 1800 RPM when the ohmmeter shows continuity.
4. If not, adjust speed by turning throttle position adjusting screw,Fig. 87.
