1. Remove undercovers and glove box from vehicle.
2. Disconnect single white terminal connectors at heater assembly, then connect black check connector to female single terminal connector.
3. Place temperature control lever at 77, then start and idle engine.
4. Place blower motor switch in "Auto" position, then verify lower edge of guide plate on servo motor is positioned on the orange line on servo motor shaft. If edge is not positioned as described, proceed to step 5.
5. Disconnect A/C wire harness from A/C amplifier, then adjust ATC by changing terminal position in A/C wire harness. Normally, the position of the front terminal is position 7 and the rear terminal position is 6.
6. If adjusting terminal is positioned over the blue are, connect terminal as shown, Fig. 18. If scale is positioned within the white area, connect adjusting terminal as shown, Fig. 19.
7. Reconnect A/C wire harness to amplifier, then disconnect check connector from wire harness.
8. Reconnect white connector, then install glove box and undercovers.
