TITLE 3S-FE ENGINE PING AND SURGE/JERK
The TCCS ECU has been modified to eliminate the following conditions:
PRODUCTION CHANGE:
The new ECU is installed in production at the beginning of 1990 model.
SERVICE INFORMATION:
Before replacing the ECU, perform a thorough inspection to verify that all engine mechanical, fuel, and electrical/electronic systems are operating within recommended specifications.
PARTS RETURN INFORMATION:
The replacement ECU's are remanufactured by Nippondenso-Los Angeles.
In order to maintain availability of rebuilt units, the original ECU must be sent to NDLA as soon as it has been replaced.
NOTE: Please complete the core information and core credit forms which are enclosed with the remanufactured ECU.
