SUBJECT: Battery Testing Procedures



The test procedures outlined on the attachment should be followed before replacing any battery. Test results should be accurately recorded on the repair order.

Please note that batteries which are discharged only are not warrantable for replacement. These test results (cell readings or specific gravity measurements) will be required to be entered in the Condition/Cause/Remedy text of all warranty claims for battery replacement.
