1. Disconnect short circuit connector, then connect a suitable jumper wire between terminals 1 and 3 to facilitate test procedures, Fig. 8.
2. Place temperature control at 77°F, then start and idle engine.
3. Place blower motor switch in ``Auto'' position, then verify lower edge of guide plate on servo motor is positioned at ``O'' mark, between ``R'' and ``W'' lines on servo motor shaft. If edge is not positioned as described, adjust by changing terminal position in A/C wire harness. Normally, the the YW and VR terminals are connected.

5. If adjusting terminal is over ``R'' area, Fig. 9, connect adjusting terminal to ``VR'' and ``WB'' terminal. If scale is positioned over ``W'' area, Fig. 10, connect adjusting terminal to ``VR'' and ``YW'' terminal.
6. Remove jumper.
7. Reconnect short circuit connector, then install glove box and undercovers.
