BATTERY REPLACEMENT IN REMOTE TRANSMITTERS

Some vehicles equipped with the Toyota Vehicle Security System (TVSS) may experience an inoperative remote transmitter due to the battery being run down.





The remote transmitter battery may be replaced as follows: (see picture)

^ Remove the two screws on the back of the remote transmitter.
^ Remove the old battery.
^ Correctly place the new battery in the remote transmitter, positive side up.
^ Re-install the screws.
