Ignition Lock: Service and Repair

1. On models equipped with airbags, disarm airbag system as outlined under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
2. On models less airbags, disconnect battery ground cable.
3. On all models, turn ignition switch to ``ACC'' position.
4. Insert a small diameter rod into hole located on side of lock cylinder, then while holding down pin, remove lock cylinder.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Ensure lock cylinder is in ``ACC'' position.
