REMOVAL:

Distributor Alignment:





1. Align the drilled mark on the driven gear with the groove of the housing.

2. Place matchmarks on the housing and distributor shaft.

3. Grind gear and pin.

CAUTION: Use care when grinding. Do not damage distributor shaft.

Distributor Drive Gear Removal:





4. Using a punch and hammer, remove roll pin and drive gear. Discard old parts.

INSTALLATION:

Distributor Alignment:





1. Align matched marks on housing and distributor shaft.

2. Align the drilled mark on the new drive gear with the groove of the housing.

Distributor Drive Gear Installation:





3. Install a new roll pin.
