Brake Signal: Testing and Inspection

1. Using a Voltmeter, connect the positive probe to ECU terminal STP and the negative probe to ground.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position, (DO NOT START).
3. Depress the brake pedal and read the Voltmeter.
4. Voltage should be 10 - 14 volts.
5. If not as specified, check wiring from ECU to brake switch and check power to the brake switch from fuse box.
6. If no problems are found, replace the Brake Light Switch.
