Control Module HVAC: Testing and Inspection









INSPECTION A/C AMPLIFIER CIRCUIT

1. Disconnect the amplifier and inspect the connector on the wire harness side as shown in the chart below.
Test conditions:
a. Ignition switch: ON
b. Temperature control lever: MAX COOL
c. Blower switch: HI









INSPECTION OF SYSTEM AMPLIFIER

1. Disconnect the amplifier and inspect connector on the wire harness side as shown in the chart below.
Test conditions:
a. Ignition switch: ON
b. Temperature control switch: MAX COOL









NOTE: Perform the following check only for vehicles with Auto A/C.

2. Connect the connector to the amplifier and inspect connector from back side as shown in the chart below.
Test conditions:
a. Engine running
b. A/C switch: ON
c. Blower switch: HI

INSPECTION OF AUTO A/C AMPLIFIER





1. False signal input to auto A/C amplifier.





2. System operation when input false signal.
Condition: Setting Temperature is at 25°C (77°F)





3. System operation when input false signal (Cont'd).
If necessary, replace the system amplifier.
