Distributor: Service and Repair

Distributor Removal:

- Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Remove securing bolts and remove air intake connector.
- Disconnect distributor electrical connectors.
- Remove ignition cables from distributor cap.

Distributor Removal:

- Remove the two securing bolts and remove distributor from engine.
- Reverse procedure to install, using a new o-ring seal.
- Set ignition timing. Refer to ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES for procedure.
