Control Assembly: Service and Repair

Control Assembly Removal/Installation
(Lever and Push Button Type)








1. Remove center cluster finish panel. Using a screwdriver. remove the panel then disconnect the connectors.

NOTE: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.






2. Remove the four mount bolts and the radio, then disconnect the electrical connectors.






3. Pull off the heater control knobs, remove the five screws and let the heater control panel hang down.






4. Disconnect the air mix damper control cable and remove the heater control panel.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
