Vehicle Speed Sensor: Testing and Inspection
Location Of Speed Sensor No. 1:
TESTING SPEED SENSOR # 1 (IN COMBINATION METER)
1. Remove the combination meter.
2. Connect an ohmmeter between terminals A and B.
3. Revolve the meter shaft and check that the meter needle repeatedly deflects from 0 to Infinity Ohms.
Testing Speed Sensor No. 2:
TESTING SPEED SENSOR # 2 (IN TRANSAXLE)
1. Jack up one of the front wheels.
2. Connect an ohmmeter between the terminals.
3. Spin the wheel and check that the meter needle deflects from 0 to Infinity Ohms.
