Passenger's Side Air Bag Module

Fig. 42 Passenger's Air Bag Module Replacement:

1. Disarm airbag system as outlined under Technician Safety Information.
2. Remove lower finish panel
3. Disconnect air bag electrical connector.
4. Remove instrument panel reinforcement bolts and instrument panel, Fig. 42.
5. Remove front passenger air bag mounting nuts and bolts, then assembly.
6. Remove air bag door.
7. Reverse procedure to install, and tighten to specifications.
