Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Testing and Inspection

INSPECT MASS AIR FLOW (MAF) METER OPERATION.
- Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery.
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Connect the MAF meter connector.





- Using a voltmeter, connect the positive (+) tester probe to terminal VG, and negative (-) tester probe to terminal E3.
- Blow air into the MAF meter. and check that the voltage fluctuates. If operation is not as specified, replace the MAF meter.
- Turn the ignition switch LOCK.
- Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery.
- Disconnect the MAF meter connector.
