Knock Sensor: Service and Repair
1.
REMOVE STARTER.
2.
REMOVE FUEL FILTER SET BOLTS.
3.
REMOVE
KNOCK SENSOR.

Disconnect the
knock sensor connector.

Using SST, remove the
knock sensor.
SST 09816-30010 4.
REINSTALL
KNOCK SENSOR.

Using SST, install the
knock sensor. Connect the knock sensor connector.
Torque: 44 Nm (33 ft lb) 5.
REINSTALL FUEL FILTER SET BOLTS.
Torque: 20 Nm (14 ft lb) 6.
REINSTALL STARTER.
