Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair

NOTICE: Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT.
2. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE (ECT) SENSOR.

- Disconnect the engine wire protector from the 3 brackets.
- Disconnect the ECT sensor connector.

- Using a 19 mm deep socket wrench, remove the ECT sensor and gasket.

Hint: Use a new gasket upon assembly.
