Removal

1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT.
2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE.

3. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR.
4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP AND MASS AIR FLOW (MAF) METER ASSEMBLY.

5. REMOVE IGNITION COILS.
6. REMOVE TIMING BELT AND CAMSHAFT TIMING PULLEYS.
7. REMOVE TIMING BELT IDLER NO.2.
8. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR.

9. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY.
10. REMOVE WATER BYPASS PIPE AND KNOCK SENSOR WIRE.
11. REMOVE KNOCK SENSORS.

- Using SST 09817-16011, remove the knock sensor.
