Oxygen Sensor: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION
(Bank 1 Sensor 1, Bank 1 Sensor 2)

INSPECT HEATER RESISTANCE OF HEATED OXYGEN SENSORS
1. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.
2. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals +B and HT.

Resistance:
At 20°C (68°F):
Bank 1 Sensor 1: 11 - 16 ohms.
Bank 1 Sensor 2: 11 - 16 ohms.

- If resistance is not as specified, replace the heated oxygen sensor.
3. Reconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.
