Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

1. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP AND MAF METER.
- Disconnect the MAF meter connector, IAT sensor connector and wire clamp.
- Loosen the air cleaner hose clamp.
- Loosen the 4 clips, and remove the air cleaner cap and MAF meter.





2. REMOVE MAF METER FROM AIR CLEANER CAP.
- Remove the 4 nuts, MAF meter and gasket.
- Remove the IAT sensor from air cleaner cap.





3. INSTALL MAF METER TO AIR CLEANER CAP.
- Install the IAT sensor to the air cleaner cap.
- Place a new gasket on the air cleaner cap.
- Install the MAF meter with the 4 nuts.

Torque: 8.5 Nm (8.3 ft lb)

4. INSTALL MAF METER AND AIR CLEANER CAP.
