Heater Core: Service and Repair

1. Remove cooling unit as outlined under Evaporator Core, Service and Repair.
2. Drain engine coolant from radiator.
3. Disconnect water hose from heater unit.
4. Remove instrument panel and reinforcement as outlined in Dash Panel Service.
5. Remove defroster duct heater to register No. 4, then the heater unit.
6. Remove two screws and clips from top of heater unit, then pull heater core from heater unit.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
