Compressor Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

SENSOR REMOVAL


1. REMOVE COMPRESSOR
Removal and Installation


2. REMOVE STATOR LEAD WIRE
a. Disconnect the connector.







b. Remove screw and lead wire.

3. REMOVE REVOLUTION DETECTING SENSOR
Using SST, remove the bolt and sensor.
SST 07110-61050

Torque: 11 N.m (110 kgf.cm, 8 ft.lbf)

INSTALLATION HINT: Lubricate a new O-ring with compressor oil and install the sensor.

SENSOR INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
