Crankshaft Main Bearing

Main Bearing Cap Bolt:
Using pattern shown in illustration, tighten in several passes to 44 Nm (450 kg. cm., 33 ft. lbs.).
Then turn each bolt in pattern shown an additional 90°.

NOTE:
^ If any one of the main bearing cap bolts does not meet the torque specification, replace the main bearing bolt.






^ Use the pattern shown in the illustration when loosening the main bearing cap bolts.






^ Ensure main bearing caps are installed in numerical order with arrows facing forward as shown in the illustration.
