Rear






REMOVAL
1. Remove the exhaust tailpipe.
a. Remove the two bolts and disconnect the exhaust tailpipe.
Torque: 43 Nm (32 ft. lbs.).
b. Remove the gasket.
2. Remove RH fuel tank band.
Remove the bolt and disconnect the right hand fuel tank band.
Torque: 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).





3. Remove both stabilizer bar links.
Remove the four nuts and then the two stabilizer bar links.

HINT: If the ball joint turns together with the nut. use a 5 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud.

Torque: 44 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).





4. Remove the stabilizer bar.
a. Remove the four nuts and stabilizer bar from the body.
Torque: 19 Nm (14 ft. lbs.).
b. Remove the two brackets and bushings from the stabilizer bar.

HINT: At the time of installation, please refer to the following items.
- Install the bushing to the outside of the paint line.
- Install the bushing to the stabilizer bar so that the cutout of the bushings faces the front of the vehicle, as shown.

c. Remove the stabilizer bar.


INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
