Coolant Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Testing and Inspection

Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor

1. REMOVE COOLING UNIT

2. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR
a. Disconnect the connector from air mix servomotor.
b. After pulling off the clamp, pull out the sensor.

3. INSPECT ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT

4. INSTALL ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR
Install the sensor with the holder.

5. INSTALL COOLING UNIT
