Removal and Installation

COMPONENTS

REMOVAL

NOTE: Before changing the starter, check the following items again:

- Connector connection
- Accessory installation, e.g.: theft deterent system

REMOVE STARTER
a. Disconnect the starter connector.
b. Remove the nut, and disconnect the starter wire.

Torque: 8.8 Nm (90 kg.cm, 70 in.lb)

c. Remove the 2 bolts and starter.

Torque: 39 Nm (400 kg.cm, 29 ft.lb)

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
