EGR Temperature Sensor: Testing and Inspection
INSPECTION 1.
REMOVE THROTTLE BODY
2.
REMOVE EGR GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR
3.
INSPECT EGR GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.
Resistance:
If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.
4.
REINSTALL EGR GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR
5.
REINSTALL THROTTLE BODY.
