Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection
E.F.I. THROTTLE POSITION SENSORResistance inspection.
1.
Disconnect the
throttle position sensor connector.
2.
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals VC and E2.
Resistance:
2.5 - 6.0 KOhm 3.
Check the change of resistance between terminals VTA and E2.
Change of resistance: The resistance value increases in proportion to the throttle lever opening value.
