The front door opening weatherstrips on 2001 - 2003 model year Highlander vehicles have been improved to better resist deformation or tearing at the bottom center portion of the door frame. Replace the front door opening weatherstrips on vehicles with this condition built prior to the VIN breaks listed in the Production Change Effective Information section below.
