TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Cylinder Head
Install and evenly tighten the 10 cylinder head bolts on one side of the cylinder head a little at a time for several times as in the order shown, then do the other side as shown.
Torque: 32 Nm (325 kgf-cm, 24 ft. lbs.)Initial +90 +90
If any one of the cylinder head bolts does not meet the torque specification, replace the cylinder head bolt.
Camshaft Bearing Cap
Evenly tighten the 22 bearing cap bolts a little at a time for several times as in the sequence shown.
Torque:
Bolt C: 7.5 Nm (80 kgf-cm, 69 inch lbs.)
Others 16 Nm (160 kgf-cm, 12 ft. lbs.)
Main Bearing Cap
Torque: 27 Nm (275 kgf-cm, 20 ft. lbs.)
Rod Bearing Cap
Torque: 24.5 Nm (250 kgf-cm, 18 ft. lbs.)
Intake Manifold
Install and uniformly tighten the 6 bolts and the 4 nuts in several passes.
Torque: 18 Nm (185 kgf-cm, 13 ft. lbs.)
Exhaust Manifold LH
Install the exhaust manifold with 8 new nuts. Evenly tighten the nuts a little at a time for several times.
Torque: 44 Nm (450 kgf-cm, 32 ft. lbs.)
Exhaust Manifold RH
Install the exhaust manifold with 8 new nuts. Evenly tighten the nuts a little at a time for several times.
Torque: 44 Nm (450 kgf-cm, 32 ft. lbs.)
Water Pump
Torque:
Bolt: 21 Nm (215 kgf-cm, 15 ft. lbs.)
Stud bolt and nut: 18 Nm (185 kgf-cm, 13 ft. lbs.)
Crankshaft Pulley Bolt
Torque: 245 Nm (2,500 kgf-cm, 181 ft. lbs.)
