Piston, Engine

Align the micrometer so it is 37 mm (1.4567 inch) from the top of the piston and at a right angle (90°) to the piston pin holes.
Piston diameter 74.941 to 74.979 mm (2.9504 to 2.9519 inch)

INSPECT PISTON CLEARANCE
Subtract the piston pin hole diameter measurement from the cylinder bore minimum diameter measurement to calculate the piston clearance.
Standard oil clearance 0.045 to 0.068 mm (0.0018 to 0.0027 inch)
Maximum oil clearance 0.08 mm (0.0032 inch)
