Collision Avoidance Module: Service and Repair

DISTANCE CONTROL ECU ASSY

REPLACEMENT

1. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR STOPPER SUB-ASSY
2. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSY
3. REMOVE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSY (W/ STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER)




4. REMOVE DISTANCE CONTROL ECU ASSY
a. Remove the bolt.
b. Disengage the clip and remove the distance control ECU assy.

5. INSTALL DISTANCE CONTROL ECU ASSY
a. Using a torque wrench, install the bolt.

Torque: 5 Nm (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf)

NOTE: Do not install the dropped or shocked distance control ECU assy.

CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSY

REPLACEMENT

1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
2. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH
3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSY LOWER LH
4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD INSERT SUB-ASSY NO.1




5. REMOVE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSY
a. Disconnect the connectors.
b. Remove the nut and the clearance warning ECU assy.
