Removal and Installation

Generator:

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT GENERATOR CONNECTOR AND WIRE
a. Disconnect the generator connector.
b. Remove the nut, and disconnect the generator wire.

Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf.cm, 7.2 ft.lbf)

c. Disconnect the wire harness with the clip.




2. REMOVE GENERATOR DRIVE BELT
a. Loosen the adjusting lock bolt and pivot bolt.
b. Loosen the adjusting bolt, and remove the drive belt.

3. REMOVE GENERATOR
a. Remove the pivot bolt and adjusting lock bolt.

Torque:
59 N.m (600 kgf.cm, 43 ft.lbf) for pivot bolt
29 N.m (300 kgf.cm, 21 ft.lbf) for adjusting lock bolt

b. Remove the generator.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
