Manual Shifting Test
MANUAL SHIFTING TESTHINT: With this test, if the trouble occurs in the electrical circuit or there is a mechanical problem in the transmission can be determined.
a. Disconnect the solenoid wire.
b. Inspect the manual driving operation.
Check that the shift and gear positions correspond to the table.
HINT: If the L, 2 and D and the gear positions are difficult to be distinguished, perform the manual shifting test. While driving, move the shift lever through the L, 2 and D positions. Check that the changed gear corresponds to the shift position.
If any abnormality is found during the manual shifting test, the problem is in the transmission itself.
c. Connect the solenoid wire.
d. Clear the DTC.
