INITIAL LEARNING OF TRANSMISSION CONTROL ECU

NOTE: After replacement the following parts, perform the following "Initial learning of transmission control ECU".
- Transmission assembly or transmission component parts
- Clutch disc or related components
- Transmission control ECU (TCM)
- Hydraulic power unit (HPU) assembly
- Gear shift actuator (GSA) assembly
- Shift stroke sensor
- Select stroke sensor
- Clutch stroke sensor

Before beginning, prepare the vehicle with the following conditions:
- Stop the vehicle.
- Close the driver's door (the door courtesy light switch provides a ground for the TCM).
- Move the shift lever into the N position.
- Make sure that the ignition switch has been OFF for 15 seconds or more.
