Yaw Rate Sensor: Service and Repair

REPLACEMENT

NOTICE:
^ Do not use the dropped or damaged YAW RATE sensor.
^ Keep foreign matter from adhering to the area between the YAW RATE sensor bracket and body.

1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
2. REMOVE YAW RATE SENSOR BRACKET





a) Remove the bolt and YAW RATE sensor bracket.
3. REMOVE YAW RATE SENSOR





a) Disconnect the connector from the YAW RATE sensor assy.
b) Remove the 2 bolts and YAW RATE sensor assy.

NOTICE: Do not remove the installation nuts.

4. INSTALL YAW RATE SENSOR





a) Install the YAW RATE sensor assy with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 21 Nm (214 ft. lbs., 15 ft. lbs.)
b) Connect the connector to the YAW RATE sensor assy.
5. INSTALL YAW RATE SENSOR BRACKET





a) Install the YAW RATE sensor bracket with the bolt.
Torque: 21 Nm (214 ft. lbs., 15 ft. lbs.)
6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
7. PERFORM YAW RATE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION Calibration
