Wiper Switch: Service and Repair

WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

REPLACEMENT

HINT: Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

1. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN COVER LWR
a. Remove the 3 screws and the steering column cover LWR.

2. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Release the claw and pull out the windshield wiper switch assembly as shown in the illustration.

NOTE: If the claw is pushed with excessive force, it may be broken.
