Collision Avoidance Module: Service and Repair

DISTANCE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY

REPLACEMENT

1. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR STOPPER SUB-ASSEMBLY
2. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY (W/ STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER)




4. REMOVE DISTANCE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the bolt.
b. Disengage the clip and remove the distance control ECU assembly.

5. INSTALL DISTANCE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY
a. Using a torque wrench, install the bolt.

Torque: 5 Nm (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf)

NOTE: Do not install the dropped or shocked distance control ECU assembly.

CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY

REPLACEMENT

1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
2. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH
3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER LH
4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD INSERT SUB-ASSEMBLY NO.1




5. REMOVE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the connectors.
b. Remove the nut and the clearance warning ECU assembly.
