Cruise Control Switch: Service and Repair

Cruise Control Main Switch:






REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag working.

2. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL NO.3 COVER LOWER
3. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL NO.2 COVER LOWER
4. REMOVE HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY




5. REMOVE CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the 2 screws.




c. Pull the cruise control main switch in the arrow direction to remove it.

INSTALLATION




1. INSTALL CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH
a. Install the cruise control main switch with the 2 screws.

Torque: 2.4 N.m (25 kgf.cm, 21 in.lbf)

b. Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY
3. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL NO.3 COVER LOWER
4. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL NO.2 COVER LOWER
5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
6. INSPECT HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY
7. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
