With Generic Scan Tool

CLEAR DTC (Using the hand-held tester or OBD II scan tool)

a. Connect the hand-held tester or the OBD II scan tool to the DLC3.
b. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
c. Turn the tester or the scan tool ON.
d. If using a hand-held tester, select the following menu items: DIAGNOSIS / ENHANCED OBD II / DTC INFO / CLEAR CODES.
e. Press the YES button.
f. If using an OBD II scan tool, refer to the instruction manual.
