Washer Fluid Level Switch: Testing and Inspection

INSPECT WASHER LEVEL SWITCH

a. Remove the washer level switch.
b. Disconnect the connector.
c. Measure the resistance between the terminals.

Standard:
Float up (switch off): 10 kOhms or higher

d. Check for continuity between the terminals.

Standard:
Float down (switch on): Continuity

If the operation is not as specified, replace the switch.
