Check the Indicator

CHECK INDICATOR




a. Turn the ignition switch ON.
b. Check that the CRUISE main indicator light and READY indicator light comes on when the cruise control main switch is turned on. Then, the indicator light goes off when the main switch is turned off.

HINT: If the indicator check result shows problem, proceed to troubleshooting for the combination meter section.




c. Check the DTCs.

HINT: If a malfunction occurs in the vehicle speed sensors or the stop light switch, etc.. during cruise control driving, the ECU actuates AUTO CANCEL of the cruise control and blinks CRUISE main indicator light. This indicator light inform malfunction to the driver. At the same time, the malfunction date is stored as a diagnostic trouble code.
