POWER STEERING: POWER STEERING ECU: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH Removal

3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH Removal

4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL NO.1 Removal

5. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY CENTER Removal

7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH Removal

8. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side as for the LH side.

9. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH Removal

11. REMOVE SWITCH BASE HOLE COVER Removal

12. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY Removal

13. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER Removal

14. REMOVE POWER STEERING ECU

(a) Separate the wire harness clamp.





(b) Disconnect the 4 connectors.





(c) Remove the 2 bolts and remove the power steering ECU.
